We are ready to fight this general election on 12 December because we are always ready. We have been ready since the day after the last election. We listen to our residents all year round and we’re always out in our communities.

We know we have to fight for the future of our country. The choice is clear: austerity and division with the Conservatives or investment and hope with Labour.

​How can you help?

All our campaigning events are advertised on the events page. Please have a look and sign up for events that you can get to – it really helps the organisers to know numbers in advance.

We are friendly bunch and if you haven’t been out campaigning before don’t worry you’ll be paired with an experienced campaigner​.

Get in touch if you can help deliver our leaflets. We always appreciate additional help. All our delivery rounds are between 150-250 properties and take 60-90 minutes to complete. These can be done in your own time, at your own​ pace.

​Some people enjoy telephone canvassing, especially in these winter months. We have a really good system for this activity. All you require is a phoneline and a computer. This can also be done from home, in your own time and is at no cost to yourself.

Use social media, such as Twitter and Facebook, to help us get our message out. Don’t forget to talk about how Labour will transform the country for the better to your family, friends, work mates, neighbours, and anyone else who will listen. Spreading the word is the best campaign tool we have.
